Erik is a stunning
young man out of
sired by Branco vom Banholz (E-Litter). Again a very even litter of 10. They
are a little over 3 years old now and everybody is happy
with they dogs. I am fortunate to see a lot of the
puppies in training on regular basis and they are all
doing very well; titles will follow hopefully in 2012.
Erik was returned to us at the age of 9 weeks because the
new owners did not like him and were unhappy with what
he showed as a working dog prospect. We decided to keep him for a while because
of the long travel (he spent over 18
hours being shipped from one side of the country to the
other. We did not want to stick him in another home after
this odyssey). Now three year later he is not going anywhere
anymore. He is Steves buddy and hopefully they will also
make a great team on the trial field.
Erik is probably the best looking dog I
have ever bred. He is big but surprisingly athletic; big grips, super toy drive, confident and
learns incredibly fast. Everything is there, now he just needs to be
trained!! Unfortunately the radiographs of his hips were
not as good as we hoped for and due to a mild hip
dysplasia I will not breed him.
We are just happy to have him back
because no dog deserves to be in a place where they are
